Southern Alberta Bowhunters Association

SABA is a community of like minded individuals who share a love for archery, the outdoors, wildlife and hunting. Below you can find a variety of pictures from our community.

Shoot Pictures

SABA puts on a variety of events throughout the year including an indoor winter 3D shoot and a summer outdoor 3D shoot.
  • Our winter 2022 indoor shoot was a great event thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to seeing you at our next shoot.
  • Our summer outdoor shoot is June 25/26th.
Here are some pictures of our past indoor and outdoor shoots with some of our members.

Hunting Pictures

Some of our members spend hours upon hours in the fields and mountains of Alberta chasing their animals. Here are some photos showcasing all the time and energy that goes into each and every harvest made. Bowhunting is not easy and these harvests are something to be proud of.

As SABA members you can enter your harvests into our yearly game awards. See those award winners along with SABAs all time #1 records in our Trophy Room

Nature Pictures

"From bright and early mornings to dark and dusky nights,
I pray you'll bless my hunt and put a big one in my sights.
I pray for steady hands, and an aim that proves true.
To bring home my game a blessing straight from you"
                                                                  -J.C. Bell

"Go afield with a good attitude,
with respect for the wildlife you hunt
and for the forests and fields in which you walk.
Immerse yourself in the outdoor experience.
It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person"
                                                                -Fred Bear
