SABA Bowhunter SystemThis is the system that we use for our in-club awards. As you can see there are different small game, fish, migratory bird and big game classes that can be completed and what the requirement for each is. The Master Bowhunter and Pinnacle awards are based on your cumulative harvests and will take several years to achieve. SABA keeps a detailed record of all harvests submitted. |

SABA Scoring Day 🏹
Scoring Day is one of our favorite traditions of the year — a time for members to come together, share stories from the season, and have their harvests officially scored and entered into SABA’s annual Bowhunting Awards Program.
Members bring in their harvests from the previous hunting season to be measured and recorded by our scorers. Each entry contributes toward our Master Bowhunter System — a long-standing tradition that recognizes dedication, skill, and a deep respect for the hunt.
Through this system, members can earn badges, buckles, and even the prestigious Pinnacle Award, which requires harvesting multiple species over time. Some awards take years of commitment to achieve, representing a lifetime of experience and passion for the sport.
All awards are presented at our Annual Awards Banquet held each March, where we gather to celebrate accomplishments, camaraderie, and another successful year of bowhunting.
🌲 Scoring Day is more than just numbers — it’s a celebration of the bowhunting journey, the friendships we’ve built, and the traditions we continue to pass on.
