SABA Bowhunter SystemThis is the system that we use for our in-club awards. As you can see there are different small game, fish, migratory bird and big game classes that can be completed and what the requirement for each is. The Master Bowhunter and Pinnacle awards are based on your cumulative harvests and will take several years to achieve. SABA keeps a detailed record of all harvests submitted. |

Scoring Day 2024
Scoring day for the 2023 season is on February 10th, 2024 from 8:30am -1:30pm at the Rugby Club (3305 9th Ave North).
Harvest drop offs can happen between 8:30am-11:30am (all entries need to be in by 11:30am, to ensure the scorers have enough time).
Please email photos of your harvest to us and the score sheets will be available and filled out day of.
PLEASE ENSURE ALL HEADS ARE CLEAN AND NOT STINKY, or they will not be scored.
If you CANNOT make it to our scoring day you must have your trophy scored and forms filled out and submitted by February 11th see Contingency plan below.

This is to be filled out in order to be considered for a variety of yearly and cumulative SABA awards. Many of these awards are designed to be accumulated throughout your life journey as a SABA member. We have also attached the various cumulative awards you are working towards. Please ensure to fill out this form in its entirety and bring it with you for scoring day. Leave the score blank and our lovely records committee will handle calculating points and adding in scores from our scorers. You are responsible for submitting your own harvests and matching forms into ABA. There's been some issues with them not getting them and confusion in the past So this year we are trying it this with. If you have any questions let us know.
As a SABA member you are also eligible to enter your animals in the ABA awards. ABA usually holds a yearly banquet similarly to SABA. They also have cumulative awards that these animals can help you towards. For more information on this visit the ABA Website. This form must be filled in for each animal you have harvested. Again, please fill this out in its entirety. If you are unable to find your ABA Membership number look back through your emails, they usually send it to you.
